DATA PROTECTION INFORMATION AND CONSENT TEXT

Alacakaptan Law Office (“ACA”) takes all necessary measures to ensure the security of your data and processes it using the latest technology available. You can find detailed explanations regarding the storage and processing methods of your personal data, the individuals and institutions with whom it will be shared, legal explanations, and your rights regarding your personal data according to Article 10 of Law No. 6998 on the Protection of Personal Data in this document.

  1. COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA Alacakaptan Law Office is the data controller for users who grant permission to contact and use data through any account on the websites owned by ACA, any electronic or concrete data processing permissions given without any restrictions, and users who grant data usage permission. In this context, ACA will process all data shared with ACA in accordance with the permission of the data owner, within the scope of the Laws of the Republic of Turkey and the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). In addition to those listed here, information shared with us will be collected and processed within the framework of the rules envisaged in the KVKK, including but not limited to, IP addresses you use when accessing our law office’s websites, device information, source and destination point information, connection entry and exit date and time information, your location information, data collected through cookies, and information shared with us in memberships or purchases made with or without membership on the websites. In this context, these, including but not limited to them, will be stored and processed in compliance with the law and our company’s professional approach within the framework of the rules stipulated in the KVKK when accessing the websites owned by the law office or in the information you share with us during membership or purchases made without membership.
  2. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA Your personal data may be processed within the framework of the criteria specified in Article 5 and Article 6 of the KVKK for the purposes of conducting the necessary work for you to benefit from the services and activities of our law office, statistical studies regarding the services and activities offered, improving the quality of service as a result of these studies, the necessity of sharing with third parties due to the nature of the services received, improving the services, solving questions and problems, ensuring data security, customer satisfaction, fulfilling our legal obligations, and performance measurements in our company.
  3. TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA Your personal data may be transferred within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK to our business partners with whom we collaborate to provide and promote our services and activities, other third parties from whom services are received, authorized representatives and agents authorized by you, regulatory and supervisory institutions, courts, and enforcement offices, and other public institutions or organizations authorized to request your personal data, both domestically and abroad.
  4. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA Regarding your personal data: a) Learning whether your personal data is being processed, b) Requesting information if your personal data has been processed, c) Learning the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in line with this purpose, ç) Knowing the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred at home or abroad, d) Requesting correction if your personal data is incomplete or incorrectly processed, e) Requesting the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions specified in Article 7 of the KVKK, f) Requesting notification of the operations carried out in accordance with subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, g) Objecting to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems, ğ) Requesting compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data, you have the rights. You can submit your requests within the scope of these rights to us in writing via registered mail or personally, or in writing via registered e-mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or using your electronic mail address previously notified to us and registered in our system. Your requests will be concluded free of charge within a maximum of thirty days from the date of reaching us through the specified methods. Your application will be concluded free of charge within 30 (thirty) days at the latest after it reaches us through the specified methods, depending on the nature of your application. ACA may request some verifying information from you to confirm that you are the correct person applying; these details will only be requested to determine the identity of the real data owner and to share the application results with the correct person. As stated in the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller published in the Official Gazette dated 10.03.2018 and numbered 30356 by the Personal Data Protection Board, if the response to your application is to be given in writing, you may be charged a fee not exceeding 1 TL for each page on the first 10 pages, and if the response is to be provided in a recording medium such as a CD, external memory, not exceeding the cost of the recording medium may be requested from you. If your application is due to ACA, the fee, if any, will be refunded. This Information Text is an integral and inseparable part of all contracts you sign or have signed with our company.
